You can sport both ways - alone ore inviting your relatives, friends, colleagues, there is enough places for all. If you are not satisfied with the active sports, then the accuracy can be useful at billiard and it's Latvian analogue novuss. Well, if not these, chess and dominoes are there to be found.
After all you are allowed to do nothing, just have a sunbathe and light-hearted recreation, visit bar, sit by the campfire, fish in Brasla river (what if you are lucky to catch a trout) ore go to cottage, where warm bed is awaiting.
Don't wary about your dinner! Let it be concern of somebody else for you. Gourmet is offered a large rots one may resemble with “one little piglet” from the funny movie or a delicious piece of it on the bonfire flames. Wonderful spot!
This wonderful spot is called “Burtakas” which is located 65 km from Riga, Valmiera direction at a place called Straupe. Name Burtakas originate from Burtakas rock which you may see right here on a bank of Braslas river. Spot is surrounded by wood and river, by where neighbors presence is not felt and one can feel himself like in a Good's bosom. Your view will be pleased observing created waterfall , channels and fountains as well as moon and light refections glittering in ponds by evening.
